Wanda June (Woodworth) Vincent, 79, of Lewistown, Missouri, passed away at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Country Aire Estates in Lewistown. She was born on June 22, 1946, in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Walter Ray and Mildred Marie (Hamilton) Woodworth.

June graduated from Unity High School in 1964. She later taught Head Start in LaBelle, Missouri. After her retirement, she lovingly became known as “Foster Grandma” to many children and families whose lives she touched with kindness and care.

Growing up on the family farm alongside her eight siblings, June developed a deep appreciation for family, faith, and simple joys in life. She was a former member of Ursa Christian Church and enjoyed watching game shows, gardening, canning vegetables, cooking, traveling, and reading.

She is survived by her children, Denise (David) Goodwin, and Jason (Shelly) Vincent both of Lewistown, Missouri; grandchildren, Tyler, LaDonna, Caden, and Chloe; one brother, Claude (Jackie) Woodworth of Chillicothe, Missouri; and one sister, Louise Weatherford of Burton, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lois Smith; and brothers, Raymond, Marvin, Leroy, Michael, and Eddie Joe.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the J. Otto Funeral Home with Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow at New Providence Cemetery near Ursa, Illinois.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Miracle Workers of Lewistown, Missouri.
