Fred Reeves

Fred D. Reeves, 77, of Quincy died on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in his home.  He was born on January 22, 1943 in Peoria, IL a son of Felix and Letha (Burgess) Reeves.

Fred graduated from Carlisle County High School.  After high school he joined the Air Force serving his country for two years.  He was a past President and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, New Madrid, MO.  He was and OTR Truck Driver until retiring in 2009.  He enjoyed camping, fishing and drinking beer with friends and family.

Fred leaves behind his companion, Sheila Tucker, six children, Cindy (Brian) Pyatt of Fulton, KY, Charles (Debra) Reeves of Quincy, Jeffery (Becky) Reeves of Mayfield, KY, Allen Reeves of Fulton, KY, Doug (Tina) Reeves of Mayfield, KY, and Marcey (Rob) of Jonesboro, IL.  His siblings, Larry Wayne Yancey, Timothy Yancey, Darlyne Fletcher, Jimmy Reeves, Larry Reeves, Felicia Hart, Tonya Stuart, Toni Reeves and Marsha Reeves.  Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Fred Reeves, Jr.

Per Fred’s wishes cremation rights have been accorded and a private family service
