Debra C. Ensminger

Debra C. Ensminger, 66, of Mendon, Illinois, passed away at 8:59 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, at her home in Mendon. She was born in St. Charles, Missouri on September15, 1957, a daughter of Gerald Lee and Barbara Ann (Buchanan) Doyle. She married Rocky Ensminger on October 3, 1986. He survives.

Debra grew up near Arnold, Missouri. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, camping, being out in nature and shopping. She collected sunflowers and butterflies. Debra was a hippie at heart. She will be lovingly remembered for her ornery ways and gift giving of the trinkets she collected.

She is survived by her husband, Rocky; daughters, Levita Renee Holmes of Salem, Missouri and Bobbie Ann Hughes of Salem, Missouri; son, Gerald Ray Williams of Quincy, Illinois; five grandchildren, Joshua Haws, Leanna Haws, Gunner Lee Paul, Lanie Renee Paul, Breanna Kay Williams; great grandchildren, Carter, Amara, Axennia, Anayia; sister, Tammy Smith; twin brother, David Doyle; brothers-in-law, Terry Ensminger, David (Laura) Ensminger, Steve Ensminger, Ricky Ensminger, Fred (Donna) Ensminger; sister-in-law, Marcy Ensminger; and her soul sister and best friend Kelley Edwards. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Sharon Thomas and Loretta Edgar; sister-in-law, Mona Miller.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The Triplett Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care and arrangements.
