Carolyn S. Robbins, age 83, of Fowler, Illinois, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Blessing Hospital.

She was born August 2, 1942, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the daughter of Asa Goldsby and Loma (Hughes) Goldsby. She attended Trenton Schools. Carolyn devoted 23 years of caring service at the Good Samaritan Home in Quincy, Illinois before retiring.

Carolyn enjoyed spending time at the casinos, playing bingo, crocheting, and caring for her beloved pets, including her cats, Lucy, Bear and Oreo. Above all, she loved her family and cherished every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her children: Jack Miller of Quincy, Illinois; Larry Robbins of Quincy, Illinois; and Susan (Jeff) Wheeler of Boone, Iowa; her sister, Sarah Barnes of Trenton, Missouri; her grandchildren, Daniel, Hannah, Zachery, Nicholas, Jeremy, Kerry, Brian, and Kurtis; several great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter-in-law, Laurie Miller; and her sister, Dixie Berger.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at J. Otto Funeral Home in Mendon, Illinois, with Larry Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Home Cemetery in Fowler, Illinois. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
