URSA, Ill. -- Candice Rae Leeper, 68, of Ursa died on Friday, Oct. 3, 2014 in her home.
Candice was born on August 2, 1946, in Sioux City, Iowa a daughter of Gary and Jackie Barker.
She recently retired from Blessing Rieman College of Nursing, where she was an assistant professor. She enjoyed camping, Watching birds and spending time with her granddaughter.
She is survived by two children, Jeffrey (Mehgan Diester) Leeper of Linn Creek, Mo., Angela Leeper, of Quincy; and one granddaughter, Story Leeper of Waynesville, Mo.
She was preceded in death, by her parents.
SERVICES: 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 in Faith Christian Church, Quincy with Pastor Matt Worstell conducting.
VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014 in the Hunter Funeral Home, Mendon.
